Tales for Tapes #01

The first edition of Tales for Tapes, as so many special evenings, came into existence because of the visit to Paris by Jeudi Pop. Jeudi Pop was a miracle duo that combined the concrete sounds of magnetic tape with the smoother side of pop music. Since Anton Mobin, who lives in the Belville part of Paris, a popular part of town with lots of small bars and restaurants where food and drinks are still affordable, was always on the look out for new places to play, he found us a basement at Café de Paris.

Tales for Tapes could only exist, because there were enough cassetteurs to tell the story. Diktat, the Parisian quartet of most radical magnetic story tellers could not fail at the first edition.

Anton and Ayato completed the set up with their Crash Duo.

A short impression of the evening is offered on the video shot by Rébus.
